I’m not really going fishing.  If you’ve been following WCD for a while, you have a pretty good idea of how I feel about outdoor pursuits…  But I will be taking some time off from new posts for a few weeks to spend time with family, friends, and the best city in the world.  If I can figure out how to work the pre-schedule function before my self-imposed countdown expires, then I will attempt to repost a few of my favorite posts from days gone by.  You know, January or February.  If not, well, I hope that a few concentrated family weeks and a few days galavanting around the Big Apple will provide me with some fodder for the future.

I look forward to catching up with you all when I return, in body and spirit.

Remember to drink wine worth drinking and watch the salt intake of you snack choices when the weather’s hot.  Bloating can be a bitch.
