Today I have the hono(u)r of being the featured post at Scary Mommy, a parenting community for those of us that don’t always take parenting so…er….seriously. Jill Smokler, the creator, has done more than just create a blog for those “Please tell me I’m not alone” parenting moments, but has founded a whole community. A little anti-utopia for those that realize that being good enough, sometimes, is far more realistic that the extreme sport that parenting has become.
A Stupid Hill to Die On, my piece, is about the wisdom behind picking your battles, acknowledging there’s a good chance that somewhere down the line you’re going to realize it wasn’t the best battle to pick.
